I live in California in suburb city called Concord, it's about 40 minutes away driving from San Francisco. I love the city but I can't live in a big city for too long, I need to be around trees and green plants after a while. But my home is far enough away that there are a lot of those nearby.

I work in a Security Alarm Company. It's not what I want to do but it pays the bills. I'm studying in school at the moment since I decided to try to finish my higher education and so I'm working on picking a career I'll really like. Right now I'm leaning towards being a teacher with a major in history. Otherwise I'm an amateur writer and I read books all the time. I hope to be able to flesh out some of my ideas and write something soon.

I don't mind seeing your travels pay or free. You and Misha are doing something I can not do at the moment and that's travel to places I want to see, get to know some of those local cultures and meet people from around the world. I hope I'll have the freedom and money to travel the world soon, but I hope it's with someone as fun and special who can travel with me like you and Misha have.

Hey tuxhero,

you are right, it is very important to have a soul mate who you can travel with and share all the life experiences. I believe that it doesn't have to be only ur girlfriend to make u happy sharing and that everyone has plenty of soul mates in this world.

I think we definitely need to find way to pay the bills, and it is also always good to search for higher aspirations as you say..whenever we find them, as looking for new things and dreams is always great. Our dreams with Misha at this moment is not to have any bills at all:) Soon we wanna move in a van, set it up for living and sign of this system (if you know what I mean Same as you we love the nature and we are very happy to spent time in it, therefore we don't wanna be locked in any house any more:)

Wow, being a history teacher must be a big goal.. What and where are your favorite times in history? Would you suggest me where to look for a Kenyan precolonial history? That is what am occupied with at this moment

There are quite a few books I found in my search but many are unavailable or out of print. Sorry.
